Overall and thematic rankings

Overall or general university rankings reflect a combination of factors such as academic reputation, teaching quality, research impact, global outlook and employer perception of graduates.

Thematic rankings focus on performance in specific areas, such as sustainability or reputation.

The tabs in the table below show the latest overall rankings, previous editions and thematic rankings.

Subject rankings

There are both rankings for broader subject areas (QS and THE) and rankings for specific subjects within these areas (QS). Note that different ranking organisations have different subject areas.

See the different tabs in the table below for broad subject rankings from both organisations and specific subject rankings from QS.

Master's degree rankings

In Law, one of our Master's programmes is ranked in the top 10 in the world by the LLM Guide. In business and management, some of our Master's programmes are ranked among the best in the world by QS and the Financial Times (FT).
