Campus locations

Most of Lund University’s activities take place in Lund. The university also has campuses in Helsingborg, Malmö and Ljungbyhed, where both research and education are carried out.

Lund Campus

Lund University’s main campus is located in the historic centre of the medieval city of Lund, just a 5–10 minute walk from the railway station. It is centred around Lundagård park and Lund Cathedral.

The campus extends northeast across an area of more than 1 km², combining landmark historic buildings with modern research centres and state-of-the-art educational facilities.

Campus Helsingborg 

Inaugurated in 2000, Lund University’s Campus Helsingborg is centrally located at Universitetsplatsen 2,close to the city’s central train station and harbour. The campus hosts nearly 4,000 students and offers a wide range of academic activities. All nine faculties of Lund University are represented here through teaching, research, or partnerships.

City of Helsingborg

Helsingborg is a dynamic coastal city located just 30 minutes by train from Lund, with direct access to Denmark via the Öresund Strait. It combines medieval heritage with modern waterfront development and a rich cultural scene.

Malmö Campus 

The city of Malmö is home to Lund University's Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, which includes the Malmö Academy of Music, the Malmö Art Academy and the Malmö Theatre Academy.

Skåne University Hospital

Much of Lund University’s medical education and research takes place at Skåne University Hospital in Malmö. The hospital is one of Sweden’s most important healthcare institutions and is at the forefront of research and clinical work in several fields.

Malmö is Sweden’s third-largest city. It blends a vibrant cultural scene, diverse cuisine, and striking modern architecture with convenient access to both Lund and Copenhagen.

Ljungbyhed Campus 

About an hour’s drive north of Lund, the Ljungbyhed campus is home to the Department of Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences. The department offers higher education and higher vocational education, as well as commissioned education in both manned and unmanned aviation.
