If you need support or advice and can't find the answers you need on the University's digital platforms, please contact the relevant student service.
Daily life as a student
Depending on what you're trying to find out or solve, there are different student services that can help you. You can find more information on their pages.
General or practical questions
Contact or visit the International Desk. They can also help you with signed transcripts of records and international opportunities.
Digital/IT-related issues
Contact LU Servicedesk if you can't solve an IT issue yourself, such as activating your student account or installing licensed software.
Study-related questions or issues
For specific advice, contact your own study coordinator or advisor. For general advice, contact the general study guidance service.
Health issues in student life
Visit the Student Health Centre pages for information on a range of health issues. You can also join their activities or make an appointment.
Development of academic skills
The Academic Support Centre offers advice on study skills, writing and reading. Activities include lectures, study sessions and consultations.
Disability-related learning difficulties
If you need support for a temporary disability (e.g. due to injury), contact your department. Otherwise, contact Disability Support Services.
Preparing for the next step: graduation and career
As you prepare to complete your studies, you may have questions, thoughts or ideas that you would like to discuss.
Questions about your degree certificate
For questions about your degree certificate at the end of your studies, contact the Degree Office. Be sure to check their FAQs first.

For advice on your future career, you can contact the careers service at your faculty (if there is one) or the central Careers Service.

Jag har sammanslagit "IT services and support" and "Academic matters and support". Och det har hänt en hel del både på toppsidan och under denna nya nod.
På toppsidan
På toppsidan har jag försökt få till ett mer service/nyttostyrt upplägg som inte utgår från en presentation av olika studentverksamheter utan snarare från specifika behov, problem och frågor. På det sättet liknar det nya upplägget dels det på nya "If something happens"-sidan. Toppsidan är också mer omfattande när det gäller länkar vidare till annat relevant innehåll (dvs. inte enbart studentverksamheterna).
Under denna nod
- "Course literature" and "Libraries" som idag ligger för sig har sammanfogats på en ny genomgångssida "Literature and libraries" och hamnat en nivå längre ner i menyn.
- "Study skills, language and writing" har kortats ner som menyrubrik. "Support in" behövs inte riktigt då sidan ligger under "Academic matters and support". Annars har det inte hänt något med nivån eller innehållet på själva sidorna.
- "Overview of study spaces" och "Rooms for reflection and contemplation" som idag ligger för sig har sammanfogats på en ny genomgångssida "Spaces for study or meditation" och hamnat en nivå längre ner i menyn. I menyrubriken har jag tagit bort "Overview of" men det ligger kvar på undersidan. Vågar inte ändra den andra menyrubriken på grund av all tidigare diskussion kring "Quiet rooms" osv.
- "Grading system", "Credit transfer during studies", "Academic transcripts" och "Degree certificate" har sammanfogats på en ny genomgångssida "Grades, credits and certificates" och hamnat en nivå längre ner i menyn. Jag ändrade även just menyrubriken "Degree certificate application" till enbart "Degree certificate".
- "Study guidance", "Careers service" and "Start a business or project" har sammanfogats på en ny genomgångssida "Study guidance and career" och hamnat en nivå längre ner i menyn. Jag satsade inte på "Study and career guidance" på grund av att det även finns en sida "Start a business or project" som i sig är någon slags "career guidance också" men som ändå är lite annorlunda.
